Training to run the Bournemouth marathon for critically ill patients

Photographing the nasal mucosa at EBC

I went running on Monday night. I was going to go running last night as well, but got home too late. But, I don't think Dan has run this week yet, and Mike has not run for ages! David is uncommunicative about his training, so I am ignoring him for the moment. Therefore, I think I am winning in the training stakes for our marathon challenge. Mind you, Mike and Dan perform better at altitude (in a low oxygen environment) than David or I do. Not that Bournemouth is at high altitude!

We are raising money for XE Sherpas and our ongoing XE research goals related to identifying genetic markers of good adaptation to a low oxygen environment. This will help us to continue to improve the care of critically ill patients.

Please show your support by donating via this website or by texting SFXE99 and your donation amount to 70070. It will spur us on!
