CASE doctors talk space tourism at annual Travel Medicine Symposium

Date
Thursday 9 October 2014

Venue
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, 232 - 242 St Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5RJ

CASE colleagues Dr Sundeep Dhillon and Dr Kevin Fong will be at the next symposium in Travel Medicine, which takes place this year in Glasgow.

The annual event looks to provide both high impact education and debate on current issues in travel medicine. The day will feature talks on malaria, imported infections and a variety of subjects surrounding medical tourism including when children get ill.

Dr Fong will be delivering the Livingstone Lecture, and will be using his extensive knowledge on the subject of space tourism to give a view into the future issues that may be faced by the medical sector during his talk Out of this World: the future is Space Tourism. Dr Dhillon will be chairing this portion of the symposium.
