Latest XE appeal inspires former trekker to return to Nepal

On the way to Monjo

A CXE 2009 trekker is returning to Nepal to raise money for our latest appeal. The four week trek will see them travel the whole of the Kangchenjunga circuit.

At 8,586m, Kangchenjunga is the world's third highest mountain and is situated in an area that sees few western visitors. The trek will take the group deep into the heart of the Himalya, and will also pass through mountain villages which have changed very little since Douglas Freshfield visited in 1899.

This will be a tough journey, but our trekker is looking forward to the challenge and hopes to raise a lot of money for our appeal.

If you want to help us raise money for both XE and the Sherpas please get in touch. We are still looking for people to join us at the Bournmouth Marathon or alternatively why not organise your own event.
