Xtreme Runner's reach £1000

We've just reached £1000 in our bid to raise £10,000 for Phase Worldwide at the Bournemouth Marathon festival.

Thank you to everyone who has already donated to the fund, as well as tweeting us on Twitter.

Money raised this year will go to , supporting their Phase Nepal arm. £10,000 will help to support a health post in the Humla region, which will help to provide public health education and access to basic primary health care and maternal care.

In the Humla Region, far west Nepal, one in every 17 children will die before their first birthday and one in every 13 children will die before he or she turns five. This region has the highest proportion of women in Nepal who report receiving no anti-natal care at 35%. 24% of women have an unmet need for contraception and only 29% of baby deliveries are attended by skilled personnel.
