A busy summer is looming

The Xtreme Everest team are gearing up for another summer of data collection. They have obtained ethical approval to carry out a research study on Sherpas living in the United Kingdom. We will be collecting pilot data to inform a bigger study planned for the Spring of 2013.

Thus, I am still sitting at my computer at 11pm this evening, trying to catch up on a growing job list. It feels very exciting to be embarking on the next chapter of Xtreme Everest's research plans.

We will be celebrating the fifth anniversary of the 2007 expedition summit attempt in two weeks. Lots of friends, trekkers and sponsors will be joining Professors Monty Mythen and Mike Grocott at the event. If you have not yet responded to your invitation it is not too late.
