Ice Climbing Trip

The location of the Xtreme Everest offices in Archway, London doesn't allow much opportunity for ice climbing (or any climbing for that matter). That is why we jumped at the chance when our friends at Ellis Brigham's Tower House store in Covent Garden offered us a free session on their ice wall.

Outstandingly instructed and belayed by Ellis Brigham employees - Ignacio (known to everyone as Nacho) and Callum, the Xtreme Everest 2 representatives in the form of Adam and Brad both climbed multiple routes up their wall which included a slab face, an overhang and a mixed climbing route.

The hour-long session was most enjoyable and we are hoping that the XE2 team will be spending a bit more time there over the next few months in training for our days off research at Base Camp.
