Josh Lewsey MBE joins Xtreme Everest 2

We are delighted to welcome Josh Lewsey as an ambassador to Xtreme Everest 2. He has forwarded the follwing message to us:

"I am very pleased to be an ambassador for the Xtreme Everest team. I have an avid interest in both the medicine and mountaineering aspect of this expedition. Having a background in Physiology and personally experienced the side effects of hypoxia I am acutely aware of the dangers but also the crossover to intensive care. If this trip achieves it's ambitious aim, it will be a huge achievement for all those involved knowing that it provides a mental, technical, logistical and indeed physical challenge. To be successful in any industry, bethat sport, business, military or otherwise, requires huge determination and motivation, therefore it is no mean feat to go to Everest, but to do it with enough scientific equipment to fill three operating theatres is just outstanding."
