CXE trekker publishes novel about the Battle of Britain
Ron Powell took part in the Caudwell Xtreme Everest trek in 2007. He has strongly supported the work of Xtreme Everest ever since, and regularly speaks to audiences about trekking to base camp with us. Ron is a retired member of the armed forces and one of the ways he now occupies his time is in writing. Ron contacted me recently to tell me about one of his projects.
"When I took part in CXE in 2007, I was gestating a Battle of Britain novel, and I think I was greatly helped by the vivid imaginings of altitude. To cut a long story short, I have just published it (Wings Over Summer) as an e-book and paperback on Amazon, Click here ."
