Brad Jarvis - Logistics Manager

Bradley Jarvis

Xtreme Everest 2 Logistics Manager, Brad, has been working on and running expeditions since the age of sixteen. Mainly working with children and young adults, he has organised and led many successful UK and international expeditions, including trips to the Ecuadorian Andes and the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.

Along with his main outdoor interest in mountaineering, he has a desire to take part in any endurance based or adventurous activity. Kayaking is a keen interest of his and, though he prefers to be on whitewater, he completed the Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Marathon at the age of 17.

Brad has a first class degree in Pharmacology from UCL and was published as co-author on a scientific paper whilst still an undergraduate student. During his time studying at university, and since leaving, Brad has been working as an outdoor instructor and runs summer courses for young children involving a range of different outdoor and adventurous activities.

Since joining CASE in 2012 as a member of the logistics team for the Xtreme Everest 2 expedition, Brad has been busy arranging sponsorship deals and preparing for the large shipment of scientific equipment to Nepal. During the expedition, Brad is hoping that his pharmaceutical education will allow some understanding of the science that is being carried out in Nepal.

The Himalayas are a new territory for Brad and Xtreme Everest 2 is by far his biggest expedition yet. He is eager to add to his logistical background and prove himself as a solid logistics coordinator for large-scale expeditions.

When not planning trips to the mountains, Brad is an enthusiastic rugby player and has represented Bath Rugby Academy and the Scottish Exiles, as well as Bryanston School and London Scottish RFC.
