The installation of the Candu, RedBird LED lights in the laboratories at Everest Base Camp has revolutionised how we conduct business at high altitude (5364m). The minimum draw on a tightly controlled power distribution has been essential to delivering power to critical medical equipment and maintaining fuel efficiency in this harshest of environments. The lighting has enabled around the clock medical treatment to take place, delicate laboratory work and operations including medical biopsies, where clinical grade lighting is required.
