Trek I have arrived in Namche

Trek I have arrived in Namche at a very opportune time. It has allowed us to photograph our oldest and our youngest trekker together. Alan Figgins has joined us for the third time, having trekked with us in 2007 and 2009, and Tom has joined us for the second time, but on this occasion reached a much higher elevation. Trek I have been undergoing testing today, and appear fit and well after their climb up the Namche Hill yesterday.

On a separate note, the Namche Laboratory team has started a pool ladder. Tom G is currently in pole position. He is being closely challenged by Monty. The team use the hour before dinner most evenings to play one or two matches. Sometimes we are challenged by our lodge staff. Lhakpa Sonam̢۪s 13 year old daughter, Lhakpa Doma, is a bit of a pool shark.
