Blanche Symons
Marketing Communications & Sponsorship
Blanche began her involvement with XE back in 2005. She heard Hugh Montgomery, research lead for Xtreme Everest, speak at the Royal Institution and shortly thereafter volunteered helping with marketing communications and fundraising. She has always been interested in science, medicine and sport.
She has a B.S. in Broadcasting and Film from Boston University. She has worked in New York and San Francisco for companies such as Atari, a multinational foods company and CARE (non profit international charity). Originally from Clarksdale, Mississippi. Blanche moved to London in early 1987 and was Account Director on the British Telecom residential account at Shandwick plc.
Blanche is married with two sons and two stepchildren and a magistrate in southwest London.
