Patrick Mythen - Logistics Assistant

Patrick Mythen

Having just finished Sixth Form, at the age of 18, Patrick is the youngest member of the logistics team. He was a subject for the Young Everest Study in 2007 when he was 13 and is excited about returning to Nepal. He is keen to learn more about hypoxia at high altitude, having felt the effects in 2007 whilst trekking to 4,900m.

During his time helping the logistics team prepare for Xtreme Everest 2, he is applying to university and hopes to be studying medicine in September. Having helped the logistics team in 2010 prepare for Xtreme Alps, he has some experience with the task at hand and is looking forward to stepping up to what will be the team's most challenging expedition yet. He feels very lucky and privileged to be a part of such a team.

In his spare time, he is an enthusiastic sportsman playing for Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Academy, Brentham Cricket Club and previously Ealing Cricket Club and Ealing Borough Youth Volleyball Team. A keen musician, Patrick plays guitar, piano, saxophone and drums.
